Through the Buza gate and down the steps towards the Stradun and you will find a street of restaurants.

Arsenal Restaurant
Arsenal Restaurant, set into the town wall overlooking the old boat harbour, is a wonderful setting for a great meal. Often musicians will entertain you during your meal.
Gils
Gils (near the Ploce Gate), offers fine dining and their food is
beautiful (the prices are at the top of the range for Dubrovnik).
The service in this restaurant is also of a very high standard.

Arca restaurant is also in the square where the fruit and vegetable market operates and offers a range of Dalmation and Italian fare including vegetarian dishes.
Poklisar
Poklisar offers very nice meat and fish meals and a fine view out to the Adriatic and Pile Gate.
Mea Culpa or Castro
For pizza, try Mea Culpa or Castro.

Domina
For meat, try Domina, found in a small courtyard in the Old Town
close to the Dubrovnik’s Jazz bar.
Konavoski Dvori
If you have transport or don’t mind a 30 minute taxi ride, travel east beyond Cavtat until you reach the little village of Gruda. Turn left and follow the signs to Konavoski Dvori where you will find traditional fish dishes, wonderful frogs’ legs and the Dubrovnik special ‘lamb under the bell’ in a unique setting beside a river in a converted flour and corn mill. A leisurely lunch here coupled with a swim and sunset drink at Cavtat on the way home will be a highlight of your time in Dubrovnik.
